Architecture's Playground

Barcelona’s architecture is some of the most spectacular and beautiful in the world and boasts a number of buildings designed by the legendary Antoni Gaudí, such as the Casa Milà, Sagrada Família or Park Güell. While his fingerprints are everywhere in the city, places like the Arc de Triomf, the Gothic Quarter or the Castell de Montjuïc never cease to impress.

The solebox store

Spain's love for all things edible is hardly celebrated more anywhere else than in its markets. And Barcelona's iconic Mercat de la Boqueria is one of the prime examples for this fusion of community and shopping. People walk among the stalls, examine the goods on sale and come together in a unique atmosphere. The solebox Mercat is based on the idea of these very market halls. An open space concept with high ceilings, divided by many small markets stands and sales niches. Little details like traditional scales, marquees and rolling doors give the store its authentic finish. Make sure to drop by when you're in town!
