Reflecting on his career, Stan shares his connection with Clark, who profoundly influenced many in his circle. “During my career, I had the opportunity to talk to Clark several times and to make him a few custom footwear pieces. From unique 1of1 designs to pieces from my adidas collaboration, his kindness and availability were always the most striking things about him. As a young designer, I was always honored by that,” Stan shares.

Collaborating with one of Clark’s closest friends, he conceptualized a tribute piece - a jacket symbolizing Clark’s enduring legacy. Stan created seven bespoke jackets, a meaningful nod to “God’s number for God’s favorite DJ.” The jackets were lovingly crafted for Clark’s family and closest friends.

The jacket is predominantly crafted in black and white- a design choice that resonates deeply with the concept of legacy. “Legacy is something that transcends generations,” Stan explains. “Black and white is the best way to define it.”

Beyond its timeless palette, the jacket incorporates numerous personal references to Clark’s life and career, including quotes from interviews and significant milestones, maps of Panama and New York City with Brooklyn rendered in a distinct fabric, and a satin liner showcasing archival photos of Clark—DJing, surrounded by friends, and capturing moments of joy. The pieces are now, as Stan expresses, the most sentimental clothing pieces ever created for the people who loved Clark the most.
